The A.K.G. Nethralaya & The Payyanur Eye Foundation Super Speciality Eye Institute, Thana, Kannur is single Speciality eye institute and also a joint venture of AKG Hospital & The Payyanur Eye Foundation. It is formed in 2023 in the heart of Kannur town which is in thana. It was the aspirants for ensuring world class eye care facilities to the North Kerala especially people belong to Kannur and Kasaragod district. It mainly focused on ensuring world class ophthalmic facility by fortifying preventive & curative services in various disciplines of ophthalmology in an ambient, easily approachable and spacious premises, equipped with the latest technology and equipment that is operated by a team of highly qualified and dedicated ophthalmic professionals.
